Based in California, Fintech Goalry posed a difficult concept to UXDA: to craft a digital financial shopping mall filled with products that motivate people to attaining their ambitions in an attractive and understandable manner. With enthusiasm, UXDA accepted the challenge, leading to the conjuring of a revolutionary 3D dashboard that moves beyond simply finance to encompass browsing and much more. The design caters to the user in whatever environment they may be navigating, from online and mobile to, more soon, the Metaverse. This platform has been recognized by two esteemed design awards—IF Design Awards 2022 and UX Design Awards 2022. Ethan Taub, the founder of Goalry, discovered that the financial sector was not well-structured for personal finance. People can access records of their transactions, but it seems that few take the time to use financial behavioral data to form a prognosis for their financial future. To address this, Goalry was established, offering clarity in managing funds and knowledge on how to incorporate one's financial past into creating a successful financial future. In 2015, Ethan Taub began conceptualizing Goalry, an integrated financial platform, with a long-term vision of revolutionizing the way people budget and manage their money. He founded the company in 2016 in Newport Beach, California following his successes as both a C-level executive and as an online marketing program developer for Global 100 enterprises. At Goalry, he currently oversees sales, marketing and product development. Most people are intimidated by the idea of utilizing resources to alter their behavior and take charge of their financial situation. Ethan's ambition was to construct novel representations of topics like payments, filing taxes, investing, credit, and more, that were comprehendible and clear, like "finance stores". To launch the project, he had to come up with a connecting concept that could potentially link areas surpassing finance, like purchasing products and even social networking. Ethan put forth the notion of constructing a unique financial platform featuring a 10-service shopping mall, where users can purchase items, connect with others, and learn about effective financial strategies. His goal was to redefine how people view money management and provide services that could eventually be supplemented with further experiences related to finances. Despite the abundance of design agencies in the US, locating one that could execute this idea was difficult. Even the premier ones based in Silicon Valley did not fully grasp his perspective and deemed the concept wild. At UXDA, we comprehend the issues faced by those who battle to organize their finances and find it hard to attain their objectives. Unfortunately, financial services are too often limited to just one narrow aspect of financial wellness, making it almost impossible to discern the complete story in order to make sound financial decisions. Too many people look back in later adulthood with regret, having not accomplished their financial aspirations due to a lack of knowledge. It took us half a year to put into effect our "ambitious idea", which resulted in a immersive financial product design —a 3D "Money Mall" giving users a full 360 degree view of their finances from numerous angles. Utilizing the founder's vantage point, we developed a digital approach that enabled us to not only create product design, but also provided a sound basis for the Goalry team to discover the optimal path for subsequent stages of development and release. The team at UXDA employed user research, design thinking and UX design methodology to put together a user journey map with more than 500 pieces of information. With the view of comprehending the fiscal conduct of users and showing them how to reach their objectives according to their financial records and current information, the Goalry business strategy was to use the product to modify users’ everyday money management activities through programs geared towards transforming users’ dreams into attainable goals. At Goalry, we have created an integrated UX design which brings together a variety of financial well-being services. These services are made to work together by harnessing data, providing users with profound knowledge. Our platform incorporates every facet of your financial life, such as income, expenses, taxation, debt and loans, property value, insurance and bills. Furthermore, users can benefit from Goalry's platform by applying for loans and credits, discovering new insurance and tax solutions. Rather than searching different vendors for each service, Goalry allows users to save time by utilizing its services. This platform supplies users with accurate knowledge about their finances and reduces the potential for inaccurate information. Cinematic and educational videos were added to the platform to provide an informative approach to financial literacy. Our users have the chance to connect with a community of individuals with a shared desire to work towards financial wellbeing. Furthermore, Goalry offers powerful tools for those wanting to grow their knowledge and form good financial practices. UXDA collaborated closely with the Goalry team, including the development department, in order to devise the platform's end-result architecture and 3D UI design. Close synchronization was essential to creating a UX strategy with the potential to make the concept of a “money mall” a reality. The strict timeframe in advance of its launch, numerous difficulties during its progress and the novel nature of the product idea necessitated that we venture beyond the realm of what is possible. This only made this project even more challenging. Ethan provided us with an inspiring vision, yet the product strategy was obscure. Hence, UXDA began to delve deep into user context analysis in order to create an empathy map of the user and recognize the issues Goalsry could address. We conducted a thorough analysis of the financial outlets accessible via Goalry to gain insight into users' scenarios and understand the benefits they would derive. This enabled us to devise a solution to seamlessly incorporate the digital platform with the financial stores, thus providing a simpler and more beneficial experience to users. Goalry consolidates different aspects of finance, such as bills, taxes, investments, loans, and more, in its finance stores: Billry, Taxry, Wealthry, and Loanry. Each of these brand-named stores is designed based on regular activities related to finances. As a mall, its design includes the potential for extra shop-filled floors in the future. Rather than encourage people to buy more than they can afford, the platform is oriented towards making smart financial decisions. It provides a unique and enjoyable experience that combines finance, shopping, learning, socializing, and more, encouraging users to stay here for the entire day. Goalry is focused on goals; the first thing users are asked to do is set their own. We want to keep people motivated and on track, so after setting a goal, Goalry evaluates their financial data and practices in order to generate an estimate of when the goal might be accomplished. Users also receive daily advice on how to reach their goals, such as how to save money or use creators tools like Budgetry to manage their expenses. In a quest to help its users reach their goals, Goalry provides a gamified platform wherein badges and rewards are given to celebrate accomplishments along the way. To make sure even the smallest accomplishments are recognized and not forgotten, Goalry offers a memory book, where all progress is tracked and celebrated. This shareable content is highly engaging, connecting with friends on social media and motivating future success. A primary part of the user’s Goalry has a pulsing heart. This heart stands as a signpost guiding the user towards financial autonomy. This tool provides users with an overall score that reflects their financial health. It is obtained by analyzing their financial data, such as spending, savings habits, loans, etc., and is analogous to a pulse that gives a quick assessment of the user's overall financial condition in order to achieve their financial objectives. Our initial product ideas featured a flat, 2-dimensional design, but there was something lacking—the design didn't excite us and make us want to explore the mall further. We needed a change. For most individuals, shopping at malls is a common practice. We had to pinpoint available perceptual models that would lead to an intuitive design. We extensively examined digital versions of shopping malls to get inspired. After examining numerous websites, we gained the necessary understanding. Introducing the third dimension to the development of Goalry was essential to express its fundamental nature. The 3D pieces, vivid movement and spatial layout of elements afford a feeling of intensity, tangibility and realness, aiding users to comprehend and take charge of their financial affairs. In order to create an enthralling and lifelike experience, we devised a customer journey to explore the mall. Users can easily move between floors with the help of floor plans, similar to how one would use an elevator. Additionally, Infodesk, an all-encompassing financial tool, provides users with a clear view of their overall financial situation along with all relevant goals, accounts and financial advice. This concept is an ideal fit for the product's future development in the Metaverse, exactly as envisioned by the Goalry founder. Goalry is likely to be the leader in financial management in the Metaverse, as it is currently surpassing other financial products with its adaptability. Goalry worked alongside MX to enable personal financial management features within their user interface, while conforming to their distinctive product architecture and visual language. The main challenge of the partnership was to integrate MX’s offerings with Goalry’s existing UX design. We had to guarantee a flawless and enjoyable user experience while making alterations to the MX interface. We efficiently dealt with this challenge by achieving a perfect harmony between the founder's innovative ideas, MX’s existing options, and customer requirements. Goalry has set aside an entire floor dedicated to financial education, staffed by its own financial experts ready to provide helpful content. The mall blog offers a wide range of topics, including retirement savings, teaching kids about money, and budget-planning. Furthermore, users can access the mall cinema where they can watch Goalry's library of more than 300 financial-themed YouTube videos. Once the educational content is implemented in a user's day-to-day life, it will be made evident in a financial health score in Goalry and also in the accomplished objectives. At Goalry, users are connected in a supportive atmosphere where they can feel that they are not alone in their pursuit of financial wellness. They can find strength, encouragement and insight by sharing their goals, triumphs, struggles and advice with others. Each person's financial experience is unique, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach - you never know when a single word of wisdom can make a huge difference. At present, Goalry gathers user material from social media like posts regarding predetermined or accomplished objectives, but the upcoming version will enable users to communicate and exchange their individual stories, discussing matters apart from finances. Digital finance platforms are designed to enhance people's lives. In these days of varied experiences, it's essential to think creatively to make things engaging and entertaining. Most importantly, it's vital to keep in mind that the user is the most important part. Thanks to financial UX, even unconventional ideas can be applied to the realm of finance. UX strategy based on research and a cutting-edge visual presentation of the concept will ensure that financial products are designed according to the needs of users, and can bring tangible benefits to bolster their financial health. We eagerly look forward to aiding Goalry in taking a lively jump forward in the construction of an "everything app." It is simple to comprehend the idea of numerous stores on different levels as the majority of people understand how a shopping center works. Whilst Goalry at the present time emphasizes stores for monetary requirements, it has been cleverly orchestrated to comprise any kind of store (for example, retail, food delivery, health and so on). By combining our efforts in the Goalry project, we attained remarkable outcomes that can be a source of encouragement for us to be unconventional in our thought processes. Additionally, there must be supporters in whom we can be confident to ensure that our visions can be made a reality. This article can be found originally at theuxda.com.
